Even after being here just one year, I've fallen in love with the people. It's so nice being in a community that has the same values as you, and I've found myself rooted in a place where I can keep growing in my faith. It was transformational who I was at the beginning of freshman year to who I am now, and a lot of it had to do with being surrounded by people who were so genuine and helpful. At the beginning, I was more closed off, but by the end of the year, I found myself being more willing to ask others for help or for prayer.

The most transformational part of my freshman experience at Union has been the countless opportunities to grow in my faith and to grow in my studies. I was always pushed to get out of my comfort zone and to set goals for myself. This school has poured everything it has to offer into me, and I am eternally thankful for the impact they have already had on my life.
